Pre-wedding Photo Shoot in Edinburgh, Salisbury Crags

Gordon and Daria met three years ago when they both attended the same gym. After a little while they started dating and Gordon secretly took language lessons, as Daria is originally from Russia. When they started looking for their wedding photographer, they spent a lot of time researching and they told me it was hard to find someone that had a style that they liked. Many websites showed photographs that were very dark and they didn't like that style at all. They were delighted when they found me - bright, crisp, happy photographs and they booked straight away.

It was great to finally meet them and hear about their wedding plans. We originally planned to go up the Queen's Drive, but we spent most of the time around the Salisbury Crags at the foot of Arthur's Seat.

The first thing most couples ask me is to not take "weird posed photographs"... Gordon and Daria did not mention the "posing" bit at all and when we talked about it towards the end of the session they were so happy that I gave them a few ideas on how to stand and what to do. Have a look at the video :)
