If the stag do is close to the wedding remember you still have to appear at your best on the wedding day

When it comes to getting married, stag dos are a rite of passage that every man has to go through. But these days it’s not so much about propping up the bar all night and finishing up with a dodgy kebab. No, no! These days it’s about action and adventure. Think Jason Bourne or James Bond. There’s no need to panic if your best man is arranging your stag party because stag dos just got a whole lot classier.

So, while your beautiful bride is carefully choosing the wedding dress of her dreams, you can get stuck into one of these awesome adventures for the stag party of a lifetime.

Quad Biking

Quad biking is an amazing way to spend time with your mates. With plenty of extreme tracks, high-octane fun and loads of loud machines, this one really has got everything you could need for the perfect stag party. Once your party is suited up with safety gear, you’ll learn how to control the bikes from qualified instructors who will then take you out over the rugged terrain to race and trek to your heart’s content.

There are plenty of venues offering quad biking all over the country, so if this is something you want to add to your stag do, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from.

Archery

If you used to play Robin Hood when you were young, then this could be the stag do for you. This ancient sport dates back many centuries and requires a steady hand, strength, and a serious amount of focus. Make sure you and your team pay attention to the instructors as this sport can get super dangerous! But once the safety briefing is over then it’s time for the competitive sides to come out – just wait and see which one of your party will be the first to hit a bullseye.

Casino

If you’re hoping to feel like James Bond on your stag do, then it doesn’t get much better than heading to the casino for a flutter. Going to the casino is all about getting dressed up in your best gear and feeling like you’re capable of winning the lottery.

If you’ve not been before, there is a certain etiquette to observe in most establishments, so try to avoid this one if you feel like your party could get a little lively! But once you’re inside then it’s every man for himself, as you all compete to see who can walk away with the biggest wins at the end of the night.

Rock Climbing

Rock climbing is the perfect way to get the blood pumping and the adrenaline rushing. Ideal for a group of guys who love to put their strength and endurance to the test, rock climbing is a super demanding sport that is all about coordination and high levels of fitness – which is something you might want to keep in mind when you’re booking it!

Hangovers and rock climbing are not the best bedfellows, so make sure your group is on top form for this particular activity. After a few practices, watch as your party get the climbing bug and start to race each other to the top!

White Water Rafting

For high speed, adrenaline-fuelled fun, it doesn’t get much better than a session or two of white-water rafting. Whereas most stag parties are about competing against each other, rafting is all about working together as a team to navigate the boat through varying degrees of rough water. All of you have to work together as one unit to ensure that you all reach the end of the route safely, so make sure that none of you are feeling the effects of the night before on this particular challenge!

Grand your safety helmet, strap yourself in and prepare for the most exhilarating ride of your life!

As you can see, stag dos don’t have to revolve around the pub. There are plenty of exciting, competitive outdoor options out there for you and your friends – your only problem will be deciding which one to do!
