Sarah and Jamie celebrated their wedding at the Apex International Hotel in Edinburgh in July 2009. What a party this was! Even though it was raining (a lot!) we managed to dodge the showers and took some photographs on the hotel’s balcony – overlooking Edinburgh Castle.
Sarah and Jamie have just received their wedding album – telling the full story from beginning to end. I joined Sarah around 11 am in her hotel room and took some (actually, many!) photographs of the preparations. Her bridesmaids were in the room too and they were a lot of fun and kept spirits high. My husband joined the groom who was with his Best Man, family and friends in Costorphine. The romantic marriage ceremony was held on the fifth floor of the Apex International Hotel.
We covered the speeches with reportage photography – unobtrusively – and re-joined the party after dinner and took some amazing shots during the first dance and evening celebrations.
