  • This is the second time I've taken photographs of little Harvey. He's only 3 years old, but gosh he's tall! His mum Hazel and I met up in May to take photos of Harvey and we had a lot of fun chasing him through the park. He wouldn't let go of his windmill and he loved the play park too....

  • The photographs I personally treasure most are the ones with my parents and my brother, doing the stuff we were doing, as a family. They bring back the real memories. The below images are from a family session I did on the Isle of Harris, at Luskentyre. The family stay at Luskentyre and the gorgeous beach is just outside their front door. The boys - 2 and 4 years young - had so much fun! ...

  • Let's create "organic" images, "free-range", "raw" photographs - of families where family happens, at home, or in the park. What makes you tick, what do you enjoy doing, what is your favourite thing at this moment in time. So when I took photos of little Freya - a confident 3-year old - I found out that she absolutely loves cupcakes..., she loves being a princess and dressing up and has a big cupboard full of dresses. Mummy and Freya love reading books, or "playing shoeshop". And when daddy appears, crazy stuff happens......

  • We have been trying to arrange this photo session for months... but kids are so busy these days ๐Ÿ˜‰ We had 7 weeks of summer holidays but never found the time... but 1st week back at school and we managed to have all 3 of them together and re-explore favourite childhood haunts in Blackness and take some photographs. Blackness is lovely little village, not far from Linlithgow and only 5 miles from South Queensferry. It's a quiet wee place and just a perfect for children to roam around, climb trees, play at the beach. So for these 3, it was just perfect - feeling at ease "at home" and doing what they do. :)...

  • I have been taking photos of the three of them for probably 10 years and it's been lovely seeing them grow up!! What better location is there than right outside my front door, near the beach, the castle, the water and the fields. Here's a little taster of the images....

  • I am just truly blessed with where I stay - not far from South Queensferry and Edinburgh, but it feels a little bit remote - and it's absolutely perfect for taking photographs. There is my favourite bit of high grass which is ideal for dreamy children's portraits. This is my neighbour's little girl who sometimes models for me when I try out new photography ideas. She's a delight and always fun to be with xx...
