Wedding in the Edinburgh Assembly Rooms, Aimee & Nick
Aimee and Nic celebrated their wedding at the Edinburgh Assembly Rooms in May. Aimee spent her morning in the George Hotel, getting pambered and then enjoyed a “stroll” with her dad along George Street to her wedding, where 160 people eagerly waited for her arrival. Their humanist ceremony was very personal and during the ceremony, the “ring warming” took place, which involves all weddings guests in the ceremony. During the ring warming, your loved ones have the opportunity to hold your wedding bands and make a wish, blessing or prayer for your marriage. It is a lovely option for couples who have a non-religious ceremony but may want to consider their religious loved ones. During the ring warming, your family and friends can bring their own thoughts and beliefs into your ceremony in a private but meaningful way.
After the ceremony we attempted the biggest group photograph with all the guests in the ceremony room. We then ventured into the Queen Street gardens and took a selection of romantic photographs of Aimee and Nic.
