We have tried to arrange this photo session for 2 years!! The two older girls have grown up and travel the world, and the little one is at home. It was so hard to get the three siblings together on one particular date, but Easter was in our favour and they actually had a few days off from work / uni / school / life

So we met in my favourite outdoor location to take some fun family photographs.

And hiding behind a logo doesn’t count!! Showing a photograph of yourself can instil trust in potential clients.

I had the pleasure last week to meet 11 day old Frankie and take some gorgeous photos of her. I just love these little photos. I know these babies are tiny, and at 11 days old, they cannot smile yet, and have a hard time trying to lift their head. But this time will never come back, and it’s lovely if you have a little treasured photo of the little one – being just new in this world!

Shona and Anthony are a very busy couple who run a very successful hotel in Fife. They had to time their wedding so that it was in their “time off” from the hotel service, so they could enjoy a few weeks away from the buzz the hotel business brings with it.

They celebrated their wedding at the fabulous Balmoral Hotel in the heart of Edinburgh at the beginning of January. We were a little concerned, especially after the winter in 2011, what this year would bring, but it was a lovely day, cold, but blue skies! We even ventured outside the Hotel for a little while to take some photos in the narrow streets of Edinburgh.

Shona and Anthony both stayed at the Hotel the night before and enjoyed a relaxing morning of their wedding. Shona’s room overlooked Edinburgh’s Calton Hill and was flooded with light, with windows on 2 sides of the spacious honeymoon suite! The 3 bridesmaids helped organise everything and they looked stunning in their amazing dresses! While Mark was exploring the hotel with the groom and Best Man, the emotions went high when Shona was ready to greet her dad.

What an entrance she had through the Palm Court with the piper! Everyone was looking up. The ceremony was very romantic, in the Waverly Suite of the Balmoral Hotel, again another bright room, overlooking Edinburgh Castle. It was such a relaxed day, everything was so well organised, and the hotel staff were very attentive!

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting little Tommy who is only 15 days young! I have been meaning to change my baby photography for a while, and finally I have gotten round to my first – all new – new-born baby photographs. You might think that baby is way too young to be photographed, but they are only once that young. I love to show how tiny they are, with their cute little fingers and tiny toes! And I learnt a trick today to make them fall asleep which resulted in the most amazing little baby photographs!

Sorry, I have not updated my blog recently, so I am only just catching up! Only days before Christmas, I had the pleasure of meeting Jackie and Julian from Ireland to take photos of them before their wedding in March. We met in Edinburgh, and the Christmas markets were in full swing! It was bitterly cold, and it also started to rain, but this didn’t stop us exploring the city and taking some romantic photographs! I am so looking forward to their wedding in March! Cannot wait to take more photographs of this lovely couple!

The first time, I took photos of Emily when she was about 5 months old, last year! Where has the time gone! This time, she is a confident toddler, wanting to explore the world. And no, she doesn’t like jackets!! We met in a country park to take some natural photographs of Emily, and even though it was freezing, Emily did not like to be in thick winter clothing! She enjoyed running around in her jumper! A true Scottish girl!
