04 Jan An Irish Wedding at Edinburgh Castle
Marcella and Jason celebrated their wedding at the foggiest day in December 2009 in Edinburgh Castle. It was so foggy, that you couldn’t see anything. Princess Street was not visible at all. Their ceremony took place in the Castle’s Queen Anne building which was decorated in Christmas colours – mainly dark reds and cream colours.
There were lots of candles which helped create a romantic atmosphere, and we have learnt that the Irish are very laid back. Jason didn’t arrive at the Castle until 10 minutes prior to the ceremony, but this wasn’t a problem.
There was lots of fun to be had – even during the ceremony. After the ceremony, we took some photographs in the Great Hall which is a fantastic venue for photographs.
We were hoping to take some photographs of Marcella and Jason in front of the Castle, but as you can see, too much fog….
